Slikback Announces Debut Planet Mu Album, Shares New Song

Slikback, the Kenyan electronic music producer who’s now based in Poland, has announced his first album for Mike Paradinas’ Planet Mu label. The new album, Attrition, lands on July 18. Leading the 11-track effort is “Taped.” Find the new song below.

Slikback made Attrition while awaiting his visa after moving to Poland from Kenya. “I worked on the tracks back and forth, drastically transforming some from their original sketches,” he said in a statement. “I wanted to create a journey within each track, like something alien emerging from emptiness—beauty from chaos.”
