Home to sharp staples and elevated men’s casual wear, Percival’s designs for the modern gentleman has garnered more than a few celebrity fans in its relatively short lifespan thanks to its notable knits and breezy linen suits. It would seem that the Marvel Avengers all get their style superpowers from the same delectable source: Percival. From Sebastian Stan, Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield, Benedict Cumberbatch, and now, Captain America, Chris Evans. But his pick? That goes to Percival’s Impressionist short-sleeve polo.

Worn by Evans as he attended the Lightyear premiere in Los Angeles earlier this year, the Impressionist polo went on to sell out in just a matter of hours once the MCU’s star’s snaps had done the rounds online. Why exactly? Well, because this Percival knit polo shirt encapsulates exactly what the brand does so well. It balances a clean-cut, sharp silhouette with smatterings of color— the kind that is easily incorporated into an otherwise muted wardrobe—and in a way that’s sure to slot naturally in among a variety of aesthetics.

Now 25% off in Percival’s ever-growing Black Friday sale, Percival’s headline-grabbing Impressionist polo can be yours at its lowest ever price… oh, and as if that weren’t enough, its other two colorways are 40 and (a whopping) 70 per cent off. Dreamy.

Of course, there’s more to this piece than just being a pretty polo. Influenced by renaissance painting styles, the strokes of unmixed primary colors are stitched to simulate the look and feel of reflected light, hence the product name ‘Impressionist’. Fittingly, it also makes a rather good impression—and can hold its own in holiday wardrobes and, as Evans has proved, on the red carpet, too.

Simply put, it’s hardly surprising that the statement-making knit sold out in the hours after Chris’ pics went viral. But, fear not, after over 800 requests for stock notifications (that’s a Percival brand record, btw) the Impressionist polo has been restocked and added to Percival’s already broad Black Friday offering. Best move quickly though—this piece won’t be sticking around for long.

When it comes to styling, we’d recommend keeping things poised and simple à la Captain America himself with a pair of sharp, tailored trousers (Chris’ are Todd Snyder, but any ol’ pair will do) and shining silver jewelry. Oh, and as if you needed any more convincing, it looks like The Rock will also be adding this piece to his collection of Percival go-tos very soon… Maybe you’ll see him in line for the Black Friday sale?
