Kanye West To Partner With Founder Of Skid Row Fashion Week & Wants The Homeless Residents To Model Clothes

Kanye West may be a busy man these days, but not too busy that he can’t be a voice for the homeless.

According to TMZ, Kanye West is preparing to team up with the Skid Row Fashion Week producer. “Kanye is working with streetwear brand Skid Row Fashion Week on a new collab and fashion show with the ultimate goal of helping the homeless.”

The founder of the fashion line, David Sabastian, met with “Kanye earlier this month while Ye was recording ‘Donda 2’ at his studio in L.A.’s Arts District — near Skid Row — and they decided to create a Yeezy X Skid Row Fashion Week clothing collab.”

According to David, his company donates a portion of all sales in hopes of helping individuals living on Skid Row.

He also says some of the residents are employed by the factory that makes the clothes.

Kanye will use “100% of the proceeds to help the homeless on Skid Row.”

Dropping Feb. 22nd, money from sales will be used to hire more people to work at the factory for Skid Row Fashion Week.

In addition, items found on Skid Row will be used in the fashion show. For example, one of the fashion ideas for the event is “a trash bag puffer jacket.”

Roomies, what do you think of this idea?
