It was recently announced that A&E network will premiere two new projects about Bobby Brown, a two-part documentary along with a 12-episode docuseries.

@Billboard reports, on May 30th and 31st, A&E will exclusively premiere a two-part documentary about Bobby Brown that will be stretched across two nights. Titled ‘Biography: Bobby Brown,’ the documentary will feature interviews with music industry heavyweights including, Babyface, Usher, Jermaine Dupri, Keith Sweat and Bobby’s iconic R&B group New Edition. The film is described as an “up-close and personal look at [Brown’s] journey to superstardom and the fallout from his personal struggles with sobriety and the tragic deaths of his two children and first wife, Whitney Houston.” Additionally, Bobby will also visit the graves of Whitney and Bobbi Kristina for the very first time.

Following the end of the second part of the documentary, A&E will air the premiere episode of a 12-episode docuseries chronicling his life in the present, titled ‘Bobby Brown: Every Little Step.’ The series will focus on his current marriage to wife Alicia Etheredge-Brown, parenting his children Landon, La’Princia, Cassius, Hendrix and Bodhi and finally his highly-anticipated reunion tour with New Edition.

This is the second high-profile documentary from A&E this year, as Janet Jackson’s long-awaited doc officially premieres on the network (and sister channel Lifetime) on January 28th and January 29th.
