Mariah Carey Races To The Top Of The Billboard Charts Once Again With Her Holiday Classic ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ – The Shade Room

Roommates, she’s done it AGAIN!! Mariah Carey officially has the number one song in the country, as her timeless hit ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ is back at the top of the charts despite being originally released back in 1994!! Around this time of year, it’s practically guaranteed that you’ll hear Mariah Carey’s holiday hit non-stop—and as a result, it is once again sitting comfortably at the number one spot.

While it’s been in the top five for the majority of the 2021 holiday season, Mariah Carey’s contagious hit ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ has officially returned back to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This is now the song’s sixth week total run on the chart—and it is now the first song in Hot 100 history to have reached number one three separate times.

As for streams, Mariah Carey also drew massive numbers, with ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ received 37.6 million U.S. streams (a 16% increase) and 26.1 million radio airplay audience impressions (a 7% increase) and sold 7,400 downloads, also a 7% increase.

The holiday tune is now spending its 13th week at number one on the Streaming Songs chart, while topping the Holiday 100 for the 49th week.

Since its release in 1994, the song has received a 4.3 billion radio audience, 1.4 billion streams and 3.7 million in download sales.
